You will be expected to be comfortable talking to young children, teenage students, Teachers, Head Teachers and Governors. Can you go into the playground and talk to parents about the food? Can you talk to teenage students about healthy eating? Can you hold a food tasting session for 5 year olds?
We’ll be relying on you to keep an eye on the serious side of managing a successful unit. Things like ensuring that you have the best team in place, maximising financial performance and working closely with your Operations Manager.
You will show passion for the food you serve, you will be passionate about the ingredients and you will ensure your team deliver a consistently high level of food quality.
By agreeing, monitoring and maintaining standards and objectives with your team and your client, your commitment to food excellence means that the standard of food service delivery in your sites meets the Pabulum criteria.
Working with the Chef Manager you will focus on the main cooking and baking as well as assisting in ensuring the remaining food production is delivered to the right standards, time and numbers.
You’ll assist with all aspects of the preparation and presentation of our delicious fresh food, serving our customers with a smile. Making sure that service counters are full and replenished regularly to ensure sufficient supplies are available throughout each meal service. Happy customers always come back for more, so we expect you to ask for feedback and improvements on food choice in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
Service and cleanliness will be a top priority for you and the team, helping with the washing up and cleaning the kitchen and equipment to Pabulum’s high standards and creating a kitchen you can all be proud of.
