Pabulum teams up with the Anaphylaxis Campaign

The worries of allergy are frightening for anyone, but as a parent if your child suffers it can cause a lot of stress and concern, especially for those times when the child is not in your care.

As Executive Development Chef for Pabulum I regularly hear from pupils and parents who are anxious about a food allergy and are looking for reassurance that we are doing everything we possibly can to prevent contamination. This has always been important to the culinary team but I have spent a lot of time researching the best ways to give parents and pupils the confidence they need.

For 2017, we have teamed up with the Anaphylaxis Campaign, who help severely allergic people in the UK. It’s an organisation we know parents turn to when they need reassurance and support. As one of their partners they will provide us with continued advice and assistance via their strong team of consultants. Anaphylaxis Campaign ensures that all partners have robust policies and procedures for food allergens, throughout the supply chain. Over the coming weeks, we will be meeting with them to go through all our activity across the business and we will keep you all updated on the outcomes of this process.

If you have any questions about allergens or our work with the Anaphylaxis Campaign please send us a message via the Contact Us form.
